The area of Pacific Beach Real Estate has over 40,000 residents and over 12,000 in business commerce. The history of Pacfic Beach Real Estate begins when a sleepy little beach town was but a wisp of land 100 years ago but for the vision of a few determined land developers, it is now a pleasant get away from the bustle of city life. You can find up to the minute news about Pacific Beach at the San Diego Community News - Beach and Bay News.
Pacific Beach Community has some interesting events planned each year. Since the downtown area is so cozy and businesses are close to each other, The organization Discover Pacific Beach has sponsored the Coast of Pacific Beach Restaurant Walk. For a small fee of $15.00 you can walk along the rows of privately owned restaurants and taste samples off the menu! It is very successful and a great way to try out that restaurant you have thought of going to. It includes over 20 restaurants.

By 1901 lots were selling for between $500 and $700 for sought after ocean front property. The pier at was originally built in 1927 but has been redesigned and made sturdier with a unique fishing deck.
